Picture Framing is not the only thing we do at THE GOLDEN EGG GALLERY. The boxes and hand made easel backs and frames above are items we create for customers using their own 'old jewelry' to create KEEP SAKES things they love and don't want to bury in a drawer to never see. This technique is a way of enjoying daily the small mementos we gather over a lifetime or inherit or find. Usually they are items of costume jewelry with maybe one earring missing or a stone is out of a piece and would be thrown away and can't or won't be worn. This is a way to give those items a 'new and useful purpose. |
